I love letting the interaction of copper and ink make every print unique, and every print fresh. I simply love - preparing the plate, melting the ground, etching with acid, and printing with an old mangle.
Using soft and hard grounds, aquatint, sugar-lift, ‘à la poupée’ and other techniques, I like to capture the pattern and form of what inspires me. My work is inspired by rural Kent, UK.
I work in the smallest of etching studios, made out of recycled materials.
